Appearance

The Base of the Tri-Fury is a large triangle.

The Tri-Fury has 3 long, thin but powerful "Anti-Air" barrels located in the front. It also has an Annihilator cannon and a large trap launcher that shoots in bursts of 4. The Annihilator cannon shoots after the traps. On the other sides are 6 average-sized cannons, placed in 2 pairs of 3 like 2 triple shots. The rear cannons are rather weak.

Behavior

The Tri-Fury will point towards its target and orbit them. If they shoot at at it, it will try to temporary block the bullets with its traps. It will sometime dodge slower attacks. If there are no nearby targets, it will slowly go back towards the Pentagon Nest where it spawned. It prioritizes fast moving tanks over slower ones. the AA-Cannons easily takeout fast tanks, or damage them by a lot. Crashers will follow this tank and orbit it if it is nearby them and act like drones. Same thing with sentries.

Strategies

Strong against: Fast tanks, slow tanks, rammers, inexperienced players, tanks low on

Weak against: tanks attacking from the rear, invisible tanks, high DPS tanks, slow moving tanks

Against Tri-Fury

• A fast tank can use the boss's prioritizing to its advantage. You can have a someone else attack at its weak spot, the rear.
• Avoid fighting at its frontside. This boss will most likely win/scare you off when you fight it at its frontside.
• Slowly sneak up on it. It can't detect slow moving tanks. However, if you shoot at it, it will attack you.
• Attack as a group. It can only target one tank at a time. This allows it to be easily surrounded and overwhelmed.

Trivia

• Tri-Fury was SalaVant's first FTB creation, but not the first one he posted.
• Tri-Fury was originally called AA-Panzer as a placeholder name.
• Tri-Fury has a deep down hatred for Guardian of Triangles. Probably because he is disgusted by Guardian of Triangle's nature to defend and nurture low level tanks.
• Tri-Fury and Guardian of Triangles could be brothers.
• Tri-Fury and Guardian of Triangles have very opposing views. In fact, if the two tanks come close together, they will both move away from each other as if they were repelling. This shows that they really hate each other.
• This nature is hinted in the spawn quote: specifically the part "It was extremely repulsive how he "took care" or the tanks!"
